Ros joined Foundry Lane in September 2026 as Executive Headteacher. She is an experienced senior leader with a strong track record of driving sustainable school improvement across primary and early years settings, bringing expertise in curriculum, teaching and achievement that is underpinned by evidence-informed practice.

She holds a BA Honours degree in English Literature and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), and has completed the Three Steps Ahead Leadership and Outstanding Teacher Programmes; she is nearing completion of her NPQH.

A firm believer in prioritising early reading and foundational skills, Ros continues to drive improvement in these areas while ensuring that personal development remains central to pupils' success and wellbeing, both within the school and across the Academy Trust.

Ros is a strong advocate for relational practice, believing that trusted relationships between staff and pupils underpin both behaviour and learning. She places real value on pupil voice, staff voice and parent voice, ensuring that the perspectives of the whole school community help shape decision-making and drive improvement.

Driven by the belief that every child deserves consistently excellent teaching, Ros champions high expectations for both academic achievement and personal development, ensuring that children leave Foundry Lane confident, resilient and ready for the next stage of their education and beyond.
