Tanya Noble

Head of School - Woodcot Primary School

Tanya is a newly appointed interim Head of School at Woodcot Primary, having previously served as an Assistant Headteacher at Cams Hill School, where she was responsible for the pastoral care of Key Stage 4. She has been a member of the Cams Hill School Senior Leadership Team for the past eight years, taking on a range of responsibilities and playing an important role in supporting pupils’ academic, personal and pastoral development.

As an English specialist, Tanya began her career teaching and progressed into leadership through a successful tenure as Head of English. Over recent years, her focus has increasingly moved towards pastoral leadership, including a secondment at Weston Secondary School, as Acting Deputy Headteacher for a year. This experience further developed her passion for pastoral care and strengthened her commitment to creating an environment in which every pupil can flourish.

Tanya is passionate about ensuring that all pupils receive strong pastoral support and have the opportunity to achieve their very best. She firmly believes that every young person should feel safe, confident and valued within their educational environment, and that effective pastoral care is fundamental to enabling pupils to thrive both personally and academically.

More recently, Tanya has developed a particular interest in the use of data to inform strategic intervention, especially in relation to attendance. She is committed to using evidence and insight to identify barriers to engagement and ensure that appropriate support is put in place. At the heart of her approach is a belief that schools should create the conditions in which every pupil can feel secure, supported and empowered to reach their full potential.
