Chris Cove became Interim Headteacher of The Romsey School in September 2026, having previously served as Deputy Headteacher since 2023. With over 21 years of experience in secondary and post-16 education across Southampton and the West Midlands, Chris has held a range of leadership roles, including Deputy Headteacher and Head of School for Key Stage 3.

Originally a Physical Education teacher, Chris has extensive experience in pastoral leadership, safeguarding, inclusion and school culture. He is passionate about building strong relationships and creating an environment where every student feels valued, supported and challenged to achieve their best.

Chris believes that successful schools are built on clear values, high expectations and a strong sense of community. His commitment to inclusion, pastoral excellence and values-driven leadership helps ensure that every young person is empowered to succeed and thrive both academically and personally.
