Marie is Head of School at Foundry Lane Primary School, having previously served as Assistant Headteacher at Foundry Lane and Deputy Headteacher at Bassett Green Primary School. She holds both the National Professional Qualifications for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) and Headship (NPQH), and has extensive experience of leadership across diverse school communities.

Marie has particular expertise in mathematics, curriculum development, and teaching and learning, with a strong focus on evidence-informed practice and sustainable school improvement. Beyond Foundry Lane, she contributes to education across Southampton as a city writing moderator and through wider professional networks.

Her leadership is underpinned by a commitment to creating an ambitious and inclusive school where children feel safe, respected and able to be their best. She places strong relationships with pupils, families and staff at the heart of ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
