Sarah has working in the childcare sector for eight years, bringing 19 years of hands-on experience as a proud parent of four wonderful children. Her passion lies in supporting children’s early years development, ensuring that every child receives the quality care and equal opportunities they deserve to thrive and reach their full potential. 

Since joining Little Sunlights in April 2024, Sarah has working with the dedicated team to enhance practices, culminating in a GOOD rating from Ofsted in September 2025. Embracing the role of Manager has been an exciting challenge and Sarah has been grateful for the support from The Gateway Trust, the team, and families. Everyone shares a common vision and love for the nursery, and together they are shaping and developing it alongside a fantastic team, always focusing on supporting the children and families. 

In addition to Sarah’s Level 3 qualification, she has accumulated valuable experience over the years, further honing her skills to lead the team effectively. She has undertaken essential training, including DSL, Fire Marshal, and Paediatric First Aid. 

Throughout Sarah’s journey in childcare, she took pride in receiving a H.E.A.R.T award and a Parent Partnership award, which reflects her commitment to fostering strong bonds and creating a nurturing, home-like environment for children while being part of a positive team.
