Wendy has been the Headteacher of Milton Park Primary School since April 2018, bringing nearly 29 years of experience across the primary phase. She has taught in almost every year group and led a range of subjects, with her work as SENCo and Inclusion Leader remaining one of the greatest privileges of her career. Before becoming a headteacher, Wendy progressed through a variety of teaching and leadership roles, including Assistant Headteacher and supporting wider leadership capacity through secondment at two other schools. 
 
Her ethos is deeply rooted in a relational approach, ensuring every child is respected, valued and supported from their individual starting point. Wendy champions high expectations for both academic success and personal development, believing that confidence, kindness and resilience shape future citizens. As a previously qualified Reading Recovery teacher, she is also deeply committed to early reading and the transformative power of books to open doors and inspire young minds. Wendy’s extensive experience, strategic insight and unwavering commitment to inclusive, child‑centred education continue to strengthen both the school and the wider trust.
