Lee has served as the Headteacher of Cottage Grove since 2021, bringing over 15 years of senior leadership experience gained across three diverse educational settings. A holder of the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) since 2016, Lee has cultivated a broad expertise encompassing mathematics leadership, computing development, and the refinement of curriculum and pedagogy. His strategic vision was instrumental in guiding Cottage Grove through its successful transition to academisation, ensuring a stable and ambitious future for the school community. 

Beyond the school gates, Lee is a contributor to the wider Portsmouth educational landscape. He currently sits on the steering group for Portsmouth Primary Heads and remains actively involved with the Local Authority’s EMAS (Ethnic Minority Achievement Service) and the Behaviour and Attendance groups. This collaborative work informs his practice at Cottage Grove, where his leadership is underpinned by a deep-seated commitment to championing children from all backgrounds and ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to thrive.
