Ian Hudson has been the Headteacher at Cams Hill School since September 2024, having previously served as Interim Headteacher from September 2023. Ian joined the school in 2016 and has been a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, playing an important role in shaping the school’s culture, standards and strategic direction. 

Before joining Cams Hill, Ian worked at Warblington School, where he held roles as Head of Mathematics and Assistant Headteacher. A specialist teacher of Mathematics and Economics, Ian holds a degree in Accounting and Finance and has a strong commitment to academic excellence and high-quality teaching. 

Ian is passionate about improving pupils’ life chances and firmly believes that great grades open doors to future opportunities. He is committed to ensuring that every pupil benefits from an inclusive education where high expectations, strong support and a culture of ambition enable young people to achieve their very best. 

At the heart of Ian’s leadership is the belief that schools should have an impact far beyond the classroom. He is dedicated to ensuring that Cams Hill is not only a place where pupils thrive academically and personally, but also a school that sits proudly at the centre of its community, building strong partnerships with families, local organisations and the wider community.
