Gwennan joined The Gateway Trust (TGT) as CEO in September 2022 and is delighted to be leading such a brilliantly strong family of schools. With 5 primary schools, and two large secondary schools spanning the 'coastal strip' between Portsmouth and Southampton, TGT is transforming lives on the South Coast driving excellence, inclusion and ambition for all. Underpinned by the strapline 'empowering futures, building belonging, stronger together', Gwennan is dedicated as CEO at TGT to enabling, facilitating and improving the opportunities, experiences and ultimately outcomes for all children, staff and families across the trust as a whole. 

Headteacher at Cams Hill School in Fareham from September 2015, Gwennan has an extensive secondary school leadership experience with a proven track record of leading and managing school improvement, high aspirations, ambitious curriculum planning and highly effective delivery coupled with a distinct focus on wider co-curricular activities and events. A PE teacher by trade, Gwennan is a team player; a leader who values drive, dedication and determination, who is passionate about making a difference to the life chances of our young people and staff. 

In her world away from work, Gwennan is married to an officer in the Royal Navy and has two 'sport loving' children. Weekends are spent travelling to and watching various competitions involving her children mainly athletics middle distance or XC running, hockey and anything else they get invited to try! A keen skier and intermittent runner, Gwennan lives by the 'work hard, play hard' mantra.
