As a trust, we understand that one size doesn’t always fit all. 

Our commonwealth of academies are as unique as their communities, and we believe that their policies and practice should be too; therefore we do not enforce particular pedagogical policies, curriculum plans or behavioural systems without just cause - to do so could crush our colleagues’ creativity and stunt their success. Instead, the trust takes care of the ‘back office and business’ aspects of running complex organisations so that our headteachers are focussed on securing high-quality provision for their pupils. 


Our school leaders are empowered to work collaboratively and share strong practice, therefore our partner academies do develop and share strong and successful policies together through desire, not direction. Where partner academies develop their own policies, they are rooted in the trust’s core values.
