The Gateway Multi Academy Trust was formed in 2019 and is comprised of educational provision at nursery, primary, and secondary school levels.

We're keen to ensure that any future partnerships are born from shared goals, values and respect.

If you are interested in finding out more about a Trust that has something unique to offer, please get in touch with our CEO, Gwennan Harrison-Jones by emailing ceo@gatewaytrust.org

Individual Identities

We believe that all organisations within The Trust are unique as the communities they serve and as such, should benefit from academisation and full support of a Trust that understands the challenges they face and offers solutions-focused support to enable them to succeed.

A Passion For People

"It takes a village to raise a child" is a proverb our Trust understands and recognises. We believe that success for our pupils is driven by everyone who supports each organisation.

That is why ensuring access to recognised CPD and career opportunities, alongside a positive culture of wellbeing and reward is important.

Academic Attainment

We know that strong progress and attainment for all pupils is a driving factor for our partner academies; knowledge provides opportunities and options.

As a Trust, we know that in order to achieve this, we have to equip leaders with the resources required and enable them to focus on what matters.

Innovation & Improvement

As each organisation is unique, so too are their stages in development. Our partner academies collaborate, share and learn with each other in order to celebrate their strengths, share best practices and provide innovation for the future.

Sponsored schools (those who have been made subject to an academy order) will also benefit from bespoke and robust improvement guidance and models that bring about rapid improvement.

Great Governance

As a Trust, we recognise the importance of strong governance. Our structure does not remove a local body, it enhances it. We support local governing boards to carry out their duties effectively, focusing on local and individual priorities at academy level.

We offer a range of training and support to individual bodies where this is required to increase their effectiveness and the Trust's 'Governance Professional' provides informed governance support and advice to the chair and the board, as well as providing administrative functions required to ensure the board is compliant in its duties.

Our 'Scheme of Delegation' clearly sets out the accountability and decision-making measures transparently.

Staff Benefits

We understand that our employees are our biggest asset and that's why we strive to provide a comprehensive benefits package to support them in every aspect of their lives.

We're currently working on extending our offer to include a range of competitive benefits across the entire trust.
