Structure

At The Gateway Trust, we pride ourselves on having a well-defined and efficient organisational structure. This structure ensures accountability, smooth operations, and the best educational outcomes for our pupils.

Governance

Members: Our members play a crucial role in the governance of the trust. They ensure the trust’s objectives are met and oversee the overall direction.

Trustees: The trustees are ultimately accountable for the operations and performance of the trust. They work closely with various committees and local governing boards to ensure governance standards are upheld.

Audit and Risk Committee: This committee is responsible for overseeing financial integrity and risk management.

Pay Committee: This committee handles remuneration and pay-related decisions.
Central Services Committee: Focuses on the central management of the trust’s resources and services.

Local Governing Boards: Each academy within the trust has a local governing board, with a representative serving as a trustee. These boards are crucial in tailoring our approach to the specific needs of each academy.

Executive Leaders

Chief Executive Officer (CEO): The CEO leads the trust and is the key decision-maker, ensuring that the trust's strategic objectives are met.

Chief Operations Officer (COO): Reporting to the CEO, the COO is responsible for leading the trust's business functions including finance, human resources, community services, catering, and site management across the trust.

Director of IT: Also reporting to the CEO, the Director of IT is in charge of both the strategic and operational aspects of technology within the trust.

Primary Executive Head: Supporting the CEO, the Primary Executive Head leads the nursery and primary phase academies, focusing on operational and educational excellence in these stages.

Headteachers: Headteachers play a pivotal role in the educational and operational leadership within the Gateway Trust. They are the operational and strategic leads for their respective academies.
